NFL Week 1 Predictions: Key Match-ups to Watch

Dallas @ Philadelphia : The Cowboys have a new coach, and Dak is coming off a serious injury. Philly throttles 31-21 with most of their Superbowl roster returning.

KC @ Chargers : Another team returning from the superbowl, the Chiefs win in a close fashion. The Chargers put on a decent show with their running game, Hampton and Najee, but come up just short. 24-20

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta : The Buccaners have a lethal offense, even without Godwin heading into this matchup. Falcons and Michael Penix Jr start off the season hot, winning 30-28.

Cincy @ Cleveland: Welcome to the NFL, Shedeur Sanders. Where your career begins as a third string to a 39 year old QB. All jokes aside, The Bengals will be forreal this year. No more last second L’s. Cincy wins 33-17

Miami @ Indy: Miami lost some key contributors in free agency. But nothing beats having a QB as soft as Daniel Jones on your opening schedule. Miami wins 23-17

Las Vegas @ New England: Both of these teams could really take it all the way on each other. However Las Vegas finally has some much needed tools to build around Bowers. Raiders win 21-20

Arizona @ New Orleans: Another plus matchup that appeals to the Cardinals’ strengths. It doesn’t matter how many years Tyler Shough went to college, he won’t pan out. Cardinals win 31-9

Pittsburgh @ Jets: This game’s over/under makes me want to throw up. The Steelers have their very own quarterback fossil. That fossil is gonna sling the hell out of those 3 yard outs. Steelers win 17-16

Giants @ Washington: Watch out. The Commanders are back and this time with a vengeance for the NFC title game. Giants have some great young prospects. Commanders win 31-17

Carolina @ Jacksonville: We’re about to witness the Bryce Young implosion if they don’t win this game. Too bad Jacksonville has other plans with a Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas duo. Jags win 27-23

Tennessee @ Denver: We all loved the Cam Ward pick from the Titans. He is immediately thrown into a tough matchup against Bo Nix playoff-bound Broncos. the mighty horses win 32-21

San Francisco @ Seattle: The Niners will be banking on Mcaffrey’s return to lead them through this game. Sam Darnold and his new team will be ready to lay it on San Fran. Seattle wins 24-17

Detroit @ Green Bay: Shootout incoming if Jordan Love is 100%. Detroit has too many weapons. Isaac Teslaa now? WOW. Lions win 31-28

Houston @ Rams: Contender for game of the week. Should be a fun afternoon matchup. These teams match really well in all areas. Houston edges it out in the end 31-27

Baltimore @ Buffalo: GOTW. Baltimore added Hopkins which could insinuate they want to have more secure catching options. This is a recipe for success. Let Lamar air it out. Josh Allen will have these guys on their toes though. Bills win 33-31

Minnesota @ Chicago : The Bears acquired a new head coach who can switch things up for Caleb Williams and potentially make his life easier, after taking the 3rd most sacks in NFL history (68). Minnesota and McCarthy struggle in his first start, but Kevin O’Connell Is 2-1 in his season openers with Minnesota. Bank on the offensive mastermind to find a way to get the win on the road. 24-17 MINNESOTA

I’m waiting for the Monday night match up prediction. The Bears took some big steps to rebuild and acquired some sticky hands in their receiving personnel. Bears are looking to make quick work of a lagging Minnesota team. Bears 28, Vikings 13. 💯

No doubt the Bears are equipped with enough offensive power to really get it going. Their new head coach calls great plays. The Vikings may have a tougher test than it may seem, especially with it JJ McCarthy’s first ever start.
